How IXTAcaravan Works
IXTAcaravan is a chassis-mounted rear storage system designed specifically for caravans.
Instead of attaching to a towing hook, the system is installed directly onto your caravan’s chassis. A Chassis Rail Fixation is securely bolted to the frame, and two adjustable support arms extend outwards to create a stable platform behind the caravan. The cargo box sits on these supports, allowing weight to be distributed through the chassis for a safe and balanced installation.

The Chassis Rail Fixation bolts directly to the caravan chassis and extends two steel support arms underneath the box. These supports distribute the weight of IXTAcaravan and its contents through the caravan’s chassis, ensuring a stable and secure installation.
Two fixation types are available:
- Type A – for chassis with a C-shaped rail facing outwards
- Type B – for chassis with inward-facing C-shaped rails or higher I-shaped frames
Type B includes adjustable height positioning to match different chassis configurations.
